Global Soil Systems is a leading environmental consultancy and contractor specialising in mine site revegetation. We are currently looking for a UAV Pilot to join our team to both expand and manage the day-to-day operations of our drone program. Although based on the Central Coast, work will be predominantly throughout the Hunter Valley as well as Sydney and surrounds. You will primarily be responsible for: Ensuring the smooth operations of our drone program Undertaking flight planning and risk assessments for missions Conducting surveying, seeding and spraying operations on mine sites and revegetation projects. Maintaining accurate records of missions, flight logs, maintenance etc. Carrying out and ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed Ensuring compliance with and maintenance of operations manuals/libraries Identifying areas for systems and process improvements Identifying and pursuing opportunities for new business RePL for a multirotor up to 25kg AROC Experience operating agricultural drones for spraying/seeding operations Thorough understanding of CASA rules and regulations Excellent client relationship skills Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and regular D&A testing Willing to undertake regular travel and stay away from home as required Computer literate with experience using programs such as QGIS, Drone Deploy, Pix4D Experience working on mine site or civil construction projects Qualifications and/or experience in an environmental related field AQF3 Chemcert At Global Soil Systems, we're always looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team, with further opportunities for growth and advancement available within our parent company, B&K Revegetation & Landscaping.
