Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EPC Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of medium-to-large-scale projects. This role can act as Project Manager for most projects and occasionally as an EPC functional lead supporting a PM on large capacity addition type projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project management in lime/cement, material handling and processing, or related industry. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical expertise, communication, and the ability to manage a wider portfolio of complex projects in the APAC region. Key Responsibilities: Safety and Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and Graymont safety standards and requirements. Work with construction manager and with Graymont site and Corporate HSE teams to ensure project work is executed in a compliant manner. Manage, document, and report safety incidents and near misses, including good catches. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment (HSE) regulations. Project Planning and Execution Lead end-to-end management of EPC projects from options analysis to project execution, commissioning, and handover. Develop Project Charter, Scope Statement, Project Cost Estimate, and relevant project governance documents in line with Graymont policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with project objectives, technical/Graymont specifications, and industry standards. Collaborate with and manage several cross-functional team members to develop project scope and design. Be agile and manage changes effectively and productively. Monitor projects and communicate progress effectively. Collaborate with project managers, cross-functional teams, contractors, and consultants to develop accurate project schedules. Stakeholder Management Act as a primary contact for internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors. Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout the project life cycle. Understand the needs of stakeholders and provide them with effective technical and strategic recommendations. Project Budgeting and Cost Management Have a very good understanding of project cost estimation methodology. Identify cost drivers and associated risks. Understand financial risk and develop a financial contingency plan. Collaborate with Graymont EPC management for finalization of estimates. Communicate cost estimates to stakeholders with detailed explanations. Manage and control project costs during execution. Risk Management Identify, assess, and manage project risks, including technical, financial, and operational challenges. Develop a risk and opportunity matrix for the project to address potential issues. Team Leadership Lead, coordinate, and motivate cross-functional teams including engineering consultants, suppliers, and contractors. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Take ownership, drive the team, and encourage new ideas within the project environment. Ensure the team is focused on project outcomes and goals by managing and resolving conflicts. Procurement and Contract Management Work closely with the legal team to develop and negotiate various contracts. Collaborate with consultants to develop detailed tender packages. Drive equipment and vendor selection processes. Ensure timely procurement of equipment and services to meet project timelines. Manage contracts and effectively resolve disputes and claims. Manage equipment quality and expedition processes. Promote low-cost country sourcing. Qualification and Experience: Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Construction Management, or equivalent). Project Management Certificate is a plus. Experience Minimum 10+ years of experience in an EPC environment with a proven knowledge and experience of delivering multi-disciplinary projects. Strong knowledge of material handling equipment and mineral processing equipment. Basic experience in civil and electrical aspects of projects. Skills and Competencies Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Projects, Primavera) and other MS Suite applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven understanding of HSE regulations and industry standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Experience in Project Engineering, Procurement management, Construction Management, or Project Planning is a plus.
