Hourly Rate: $22.96 to $28.29 (rate dependent on years of experience) Closing: Friday 14 March 2025 Part Time (31 hrs 40 min p/w) – Permanent Patricia Smith Kindergarten is seeking a suitably qualified educator to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator – Certificate III. The service is located in North Shepparton. This role is a part time permanent position, 31 hrs 40 min per week, Monday to Friday, currently 8.30am – 3.20pm during school terms only. This role is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure it continues to meet demand and funding requirements. We are seeking an educator who is able to support our children to develop a strong sense of identity, connect with and contribute to their world, have a strong sense of wellbeing, become confident and involved learners, and effective communicators. We strongly believe that children will be involved in supervised risky play where they will be provided the opportunity to be challenged in a safe environment, participate in messy play, and build positive relationships with peers and educators. The successful applicant will have the support of the Council Early Years Services network and professional development opportunities. Applicants Must Hold The Following Current Qualifications And Certificates: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent recognised by ACECQA) or actively working towards Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation Criminal History Check (valid within six months) Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration OR Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations in early childhood For further information about this position, please contact Natalie Watt, Coordinator – Children’s Services on 5832 9757.
