Economic Development and Tourism Coordinator Applications close 10:00 AM, 03 March 2025 The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and implementing initiatives that create a sustainable local economy, which builds the value, identity and reputation of Moyne Shire. To be successful in this role you will need Qualifications Employee working with children check A degree qualification relevant to the role such as business management, tourism development or a related discipline with several years experience. Current Victorian driver licence Experience Demonstrated experience with managing a small, diverse team. Experience in local government Relevant business management experience Key selection criteria 1 Demonstrated experience and skills in strategic and business planning, research analysis and reporting skills. Key selection criteria 2 Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management techniques and delivery of major projects on time and within budget. Key selection criteria 3 Developed sense of political acumen and the confidence to build and maintain close working relationships with senior leadership staff and community leaders. Key selection criteria 4 Demonstrated ability to assess and effectively communicate with stakeholders in a persuasive and collaborative manner, with the capacity to negotiate and resolve conflict and motivate engagement.
