We provide education, training, and support to medical professionals working in these challenging environments. Position Overview As the Education Development Coordinator you are responsible for managing education development projects, coordinating a portfolio of education development projects and activities, and providing support to the Education Development Manager and General Manager of Quality and Safety. In this role you will contribute to a high performing team, supporting staff to develop and deliver educational programs, and demonstrating the behaviours that underpin a high-performance focused culture. It would suit someone who enjoys working within a small team, with lots of opportunities to work autonomously, whilst working on projects that make a real difference to rural and remote doctors and their communities. Specific role responsibilities include: Coordinates the Education Development Portfolio, monitoring project schedules and reporting on workstreams and any issues to the Education Development Manager. Manages Education Development operations, ensuring alignment with timelines and balancing workloads across the team in collaboration with the Education Development Manager and Learning Designers. Tracks and reports on the consolidated budget and contributes to scoping new educational activities, working with stakeholders to define development processes. Coordinates with Education Development Officers to manage resources, including clinical writers, educators, presenters, and external staff, ensuring project completion within timelines. Works with Clinical Content Creators to schedule and manage content creation tasks and timelines. Oversees coordination of workshops, event requirements (tools, materials), and other education activities as needed. Manages marketing and communications activities for the Education Development team. Assists in developing and overseeing the annual plan and work schedule in collaboration with the Education Development Manager. Ensures all member/non-member inquiries are addressed, maintaining high satisfaction. Maintains standard operating procedures, identifies process improvements, and supports the Quality and Safety Department to develop and deliver educational activities. Required: Highly Desirable: This role is part of an expansion for the Education Development team, with an expanded program of works for the team.
