This role involves providing vital support to teachers and students, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.Key Responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering structured learning experiences tailored to students' needs. Provide continuity of learning in the absence of the regular education support staff. Support students with a range of disabilities, using adaptive strategies to foster engagement. Assist with personal care tasks, including meals and toileting, as required. Adapt to different classroom settings and contribute positively to the school community. Essential Criteria - You MUST: Hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Education Support and/or Certificate IV in Disability . Have previous experience working in Special Development School settings . Provide contact details for two senior school-based references from the last five years . Demonstrate the ability to work with students with varying support needs. Be comfortable assisting with meals and toileting . Be adaptable to different learning environments and classroom dynamics.
