About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the electrical maintenance activities within Longwall Operations to ensure a safe and productive mining environment is maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Establishing Longwall maintenance practices to support the operation. Create and implement rolling monthly plans to optimise the electrical maintenance performance to support the mine. Working alongside the Mechanical and Operations Coordinators, you will develop monthly work and resource targets. Continually review and adjust the pathways to deliver operational excellence in line with legislative requirements and the annual Mine Operational Plan. Build and develop your team to ensure optimal performance and high output is achieved. Provide an on-shift focal point for the implementation of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety systems, practices and behaviours. About You To be successful in this position we are looking for someone who is passionate about mining coal and the ideal candidate will hold: Significant previous experience working in underground coal operations with at least 2-5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity. Relevant Trade Qualification and Tickets; Standard 11 - surface and underground; Qld Electrical License or willing to obtain; EEHA Certification or willing to obtain; Current Driver's License Demonstrated history of working safely; Commitment to the achievement of business goals and outcomes; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Fitzroy Requirements – attitude is everything Our workplace is dynamic and open to challenging thought and driving change.
