Goldwind operates on 6 continents in 38 countries and has more than 10,000 employees.Location: Melbourne or SydneyThe reason/scope of this role is: Provide high voltage specialist support to GWA operated Operating Assets. Ensure GWA operated assets remain compliant to GWA National HV Safety Procedures, GWA National LV Safety Procedures and relevant Australian Standards and/or Codes of Practices and Statutory Regulations and Legislation. Provide High Voltage specialist and technical support and management for all GWA operating assets. Have the HV Authority accountability for Goldwind Australia. Support with winning new businesses. Have P&L responsibility for the Electrical scope of work. Maintain Electrical BOP and HV services delivery performance. Oversee development of detailed Scope of Works programs for Electrical BOP and HV asset maintenance. Manage subcontractor, consultant and inventory supplier agreements for Electrical BOP and HV assets. What does your background look like? Minimum ten years relevant electrical and High Voltage experience in Construction or Service & Maintenance Industry. Previous experience with substations and overhead and underground HV reticulation. Computer Literate, MS Office Suite. Comprehensive experience in management system development and ongoing compliance to Australian and International Standards. Strong exposure to statutory and regulatory compliance along with relevant industry guidelines. Exposure to quality and environmental requirements in a typical Service environment. Demonstrated active leadership to all frontline supervision. Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to positively influence operational personnel. Analytical and capable of solving complex problems with clear decision-making outcomes. Strong and positive time management skills. Desirable: Previous experience working within the Renewable Energy Industry. Previous experience with testing and fault-finding of Protection Systems. Demonstrated ability to operate and analyse SCADA and/or DCS systems for wind farm and/or solar farm power systems. Benefits: Competitive compensation package and benefits.
