Job Description

About Us Zinfra partners with companies across the utility and infrastructure sectors to deliver maintenance, operations, engineering, and construction services. Our work is crucial to maintaining the safety and reliability of electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets. About the Role You will be ensuring the effective preparation and planning of work packages to deliver the program of works as well as leading, directing, and motivating in-field execution of planned works. The role has an attractive salary package between $130,000 to $140,000 per annum, and a tool of trade vehicle is provided. This role is based at our Burwood depot, with site attendance occasionally. It is a Monday to Friday role (7.6 hour day). Key Responsibilities Plan and oversee field-based activities, relating to time, cost, quality, and safety criteria for planned and emergency situations. Manage materials using purchasing system and subcontract services required to complete the work schedule. Completion of all reports and job control worksheets. Lead and manage the team to ensure organisation goals are achieved. Apply conflict resolution techniques to avoid potential escalations of industrial dispute. About You Experience with planning/scheduling work and operational techniques and standards as applied to electrical networks. Experience with field operational distribution substation and cable jointing disciplines. Experience working with overhead electricity. You might have an electrical engineering degree and experience with zone substations. Or you may hold a Certificate III in ESI Distribution – Power Systems or Project Management.
