Are you a skilled electrician looking for an exciting opportunity? Launceston Airport, Tasmania's second busiest airport, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Services Officer to join our dynamic team. Use your electrical expertise to maintain critical systems, from airfield lighting to terminal infrastructure, in a dynamic and rewarding environment. Key responsibilities: Provide electrical support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of airfield lighting, electrical supply infrastructure (LV & HV), power generation, terminal facilities, and other critical airport technical assets. Conduct planned and unplanned inspections to ensure the smooth, effective, and safe operation of the airport precinct. Maintain industrial and commercial control systems, including BMS, PLC, and SCADA-based systems. Service and maintain HVAC systems. The successful candidate will have: Tasmanian A-Grade Electrical Licence (or equivalent inter-state licence recognised through the National Mutual Recognition Database). Open Cabling Licence. High Risk Work Licence with WP endorsement (Boom Type EWP) – desirable/willingness to obtain. Working at Heights training – desirable/willingness to attain. Industrial White Card – desirable/willingness to attain. Experience with HV and LV network switching and maintenance, power generation systems, and airfield ground lighting systems – desirable.
