A day in the life of an Electrical & Automation Technician… Support pilot plants to ensure technical soundness in the field of electricity, instrumentation, automation, and HVAC maintenance activities. Fault detection and repair is one of the major responsibilities, including equipment, machinery electrical, and control panels. Provide engineering, production, and application support for automation equipment and perform routine checks to monitor equipment operating parameters. Manage/perform service/operation/troubleshooting activities of aircon/HVAC. Ensure processes & equipment in his/her area of competence are safe for people, products, and the environment, in line with all corresponding local/Nestlé regulations. Coordinate with Pilot Plant personnel, QA, Engineering, and Product departments to resolve Electrical Instrumentation and Automation issues. Ensure facility building and pilot plant maintenance includes HVAC systems, in the form of continuous improvements and troubleshooting. Ensure and monitor all instruments and sensors are calibrated. Ensure proper maintenance and update of electrical and automation systems and documentation supporting pilot plant activities. Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned maintenance. Demonstrate an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations, including food safety. Manage, perform, and check all topics based on Electrical Safety Nestlé Standards. Support the NPDI Process. Facilitate the introduction and implementation of new technologies in coordination with PTC Engineering. What will make you successful Diploma in Electrical and/or Instrumentation and/or Automation with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Able to work independently with initiative.
