ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for creating and reporting on integrated email marketing campaigns across our brands to support brands strategies, lead generation and monthly sales cycles. You will be a creative yet analytical thinker who can deliver exciting and engaging email campaigns and will be instrumental in contributing to lead generation through email marketing. Reporting to the Email Marketing Manager and within the Marketing Department, you will work closely with the Creative, SEO, Web Content, Social Media , Digital Ads, Web Dev, Project Management and Product Marketing teams. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Create clear and compelling email campaigns that convert into leads and deals Brainstorm and propose fresh content angles for emails every month Research our industry, competitors, and target audience to formulate ideas or support your writing Stay informed of new products or feature releases to incorporate into campaigns Write blog articles using ChatGPT to support and enhance email campaigns Create and design email graphics or ticket more complex requirements to the Creative team Set up and deploy email campaigns and A/B tests Optimise email deliverability using tools such as Glocks and MailReach Optimise email responsiveness and HTML using tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver Build new email templates, workflows and campaigns to support marketing objectives Create, update and maintain automated email campaigns that cater to various customer segments Monitor and report on projects, email deliverability, engagement, conversion, and other key performance metrics A/B test new ideas for email subject lines, copy and designs Continually research and identify ways to improve and optimise email campaigns Contribute to monthly reporting processes Undertake list management, segmentation and clean-up processes Update and maintain process documentation as required Other related tasks as assigned by management such as writing for other mediums (e.g. websites, ads, blogs, news articles and marketing materials) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, Communications, or related field 1+ years’ experience building highly effective email marketing campaigns 2+ years’ experience working within a marketing team Experience in Canva or similar design tools Excellent research, writing, editing and proofreading skills Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation Strong typing skills Experience managing and maintaining email lists and email segments Understanding of and working knowledge with basic HTML Receptiveness to feedback Excellent time-management and organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines Highly regarded: Experience with Active Campaign or similar email marketing platforms Experience working with email automation Experience working with Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects, Zoho People and Zoho Analytics Experience using Adobe Dreamweaver for HTML optimisation of emails Experience with reporting and using analytical tools Proven experience as a copywriter or related role KPI – your performance will be based on: Meeting targets across key email metrics (open rate, CTR, CTOR, unsubscribe rate, conversions and lead generation goals) When apply, please make sure to include: References Links to your portfolio or provide samples of your previous projects WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
