Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Risk Officer Queensland Health (Organisation site)Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), Herston Permanent full time opportunity to ensure the coordination and management of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery for emergency and disaster events across the STARS Directorate. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Demonstrate knowledge, experience and skills in emergency management and business continuity by implementing strategies and providing expert advice and guidance to ensure emergency responses are aligned with relevant directives, policy, standards and plans. Develop, implement and evaluate STARS Directorate staff training programs in emergency response, prioritising alignment of these activities with the Australasian Inter-service Incident Management System (AIIMS). Manage internal and external change processes, facilitate workshops, undertake partner relationship management including Cushman & Wakefield, CSIRO, RBWH services in/near STARS, University of Queensland and Queensland Health Herston (Butterfield St). Keep a record of participation in emergency response exercises at each facility and across the Herston campus. Assist the STARS Directorate and Senior Leadership Team in activation of a STARS Directorate Emergency Operations Centre and formation of the Incident Management Team (IMT) during a disaster event.
