WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As the Employer Engagement Lead, you will lead and manage the Employer Engagement Team. The team is the key point of education and information relating to the scheme, the legislation, and ongoing employer obligations, enabling and improving overall employer compliance. You will: Lead the Employer Engagement Team in developing and delivering quality and consistent experiences for industry employers to achieve improved industry compliance. Be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining employer engagement strategies that enable and improve employer compliance through proactive education relating to our legislation and scheme obligations. Enable industry employers to better understand their legislative requirements, how we expect them to meet requirements and ramifications for non-compliance. Lead the team to uplift and maintain effective and professional interactions with industry employers, applying comprehensive knowledge of the employer population and the lifecycle of their interactions with the Coal LSL scheme to resolve enquiries, manage escalations, and enable referral within the business. Be responsible for regular reporting of the Employer Engagement Team’s delivery against Education and Engagement Business Unit targets and goals. Ensure the Team develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of our applicable legislation, our regulatory strategy, and regulatory interpretations. Partner with the Community Engagement Team to establish and maintain communication standards and strategic communications with industry employers as part of ongoing employer engagement strategies. Lead the Employer Engagement Team through a significant Transformation program as Coal LSL undergoes changes to core business functions, including enhanced automation, online servicing and transacting for industry employers. You will be a confident communicator with the ability to develop and provide education and engagement initiatives and activities to industry employers. Your background will demonstrate your: Extensive experience leading a team towards common goals. Solid experience within a relationship management, finance, or regulatory environment. Self-leadership and business acumen, including an understanding of the importance of confidentiality and responsible handling of information (corporate and personal). Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills. Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including the ability to build and maintain complex internal and external relationships. Exemplary problem-solving skills. You will have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Corporate Governance, or equivalent industry experience.
