Engagement Director Location: Sydney/Melbourne Technology: Nuance (Must) Role Responsibilities The role is responsible for driving prospecting and engagement in the targeted business units or verticals within the account to generate and bring in new opportunities and expand the presence of HCLTech in an existing account. Leads and/or participates in the project team to develop optimal solutions for client business challenges, guiding the client through design, architecture, estimate, and delivery. Wins new business by working cross-functionally with sales and delivery to develop client proposals and presentations around process and solution options. Manages client engagements at all levels of interaction with responsibility for product and technical content. Provides thought leadership around D365 Contact Center GTM solutions internally and externally. Utilizes industry and Microsoft contacts to generate new business opportunities and revenue. Contributes to the financial success of the company by driving high billable utilization for project team members. Develops a sales funnel focusing on HCLTech services and driving the pursuit of opportunities, whether through RFP or proactive proposals. Develops a deep client relationship by establishing yourself as a trusted advisor across all levels of client contacts in the assigned business units. Provides proactive data-driven solutions through consultative selling and converts insights from those conversations into tangible net new business. Serves as an escalation point for key customer satisfaction issues and is accountable for coordinating internal collaboration to resolve critical client issues. Attends customer meetings, marketing events, roadshows, and workshops to grow awareness for our offerings and build a high-quality pipeline. Desired Skills and Experience 15+ years of account management/selling experience. Proven experience with sales or consulting in various lines of business, including Retail, CPG, TELCO, Media, Hi-tech, Online, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Defense. Experience managing opportunities with over $5-10M in annual billings and a funnel of over $25M in the booking pipeline. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred; Master’s a plus. 2-3 years’ experience performing pre-sales activities along with 4+ years’ experience working with Nuance, Microsoft CRM / D365 CS technology in a professional services environment. Mastery of Nuance and/or D365 Enterprise Applications including previous technical skills with Dynamics 365 CRM. Experience in sales motions cadence associated with forecasting, Salesforce management, and opportunity management. Strong written and oral communication skills with proven ability to develop compelling proposals and business plans. Readiness to travel over 10%.
