Your new role Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Project Delivery Officer (PDO) / Engineering Officer (EO) will work with a team of Engineers, EOs, and PDOs to plan maintenance, breakdowns, and construction on Ausgrid’s Distribution network, which includes overhead, underground, and substations work on 415V/11kV. You will undertake desktop analysis of assigned work, site visits, and discussions with Field Supervisors/Leading Hands. Job Planning includes preparation of Network Access Requests (NARs), Job Packs, Resource Requests, NECF, and booking associated external resources. The PDO/EO manages internal and external stakeholder relationships and provides quality job documentation to field teams to ensure the safe delivery of work for the continued reliable operation of Ausgrid’s network. You will have a proven capability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. Advanced Diploma in an electrical or relevant engineering discipline (Applicable to Engineering Officer role) or Electrical Trade Qualification (Electrician/Cable Jointer/Lineworker). Demonstrated ability to apply experience to resolve routine issues during delivery of works in the field. Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordinating, or supervising of work activities and/or resources. Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects and prioritise activities. Intermediate computer skills with experience in a variety of software packages, tools, or general applications. Experience in monitoring costs and financial impacts across work activities, projects, or programs of work.
