Do you have a knack for project management and a keen eye for detail? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Engineering Design team. This role is responsible for providing engineering planning and technical support to the Coordinator Engineering Design and the Engineering Services branch involving the procurement of Engineering Design project components including surveys, design, clearing permits and utility engagement. It is also responsible for the delivery of street lighting and street furniture capital programs, including conducting lighting audits and reviewing existing lighting levels to determine upgrade requirements. What We Are Looking For To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate: Sound knowledge and experience in civil engineering and design practices. Demonstrated experience in managing engineering works, consultants, and contractors. Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment with minimal supervision. Strong written and interpersonal skills. Essential Requirements Civil Engineering qualification (Diploma or higher) or equivalent. Driver's licence National Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition. Desirable Requirements Previous experience in Local Government will be well regarded. Understanding of relevant Acts, Regulations, local laws, policies, and codes.
