We are seeking a dedicated Engineering and Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a key role in representing Central Coast Council on external projects. Work in a team where your expertise is highly valued Permanent role, 35 hours per week Represent Council in shaping diverse and impactful projects and strategies for our community About the role In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for representing Central Coast Council as a key stakeholder in the review and development of externally led projects, programs and a variety of initiatives. You will lead the coordination and review of road, traffic, drainage and related asset projects and strategies ensuring they align with council objectives. As a specialist, you will work closely with external agencies, driving input and feedback, and facilitating seamless agreements to shape the infrastructure that supports our community. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: Degree in Civil Engineering, Business or related field OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience at a senior level in an infrastructure related environment across all levels of government, combined with ongoing professional development; Class C Drivers Licence About you: You are a highly skilled and adaptable communicator You have a customer centric approach with a proactive, solution focused mindset You excel in building strong collaborative relationships to achieve shared goals You are able to navigate complex challenges whilst ensuring alignment and engagement with all stakeholders Other important information The salary range for this position ranges between $99.7K to $119.6K pa (dependent on skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation We have a permanent full-time role available This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight Leaseback vehicle is offered for this role We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - up to 3 days working from home per fortnight This role is located at the Erina Works Depot Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
