Job Description
GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries. Our services cover all aspects of a project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, construction, commissioning, and operational support. The potential to join our Engineering team in Q3/Q4 - so register your interest today! We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and qualified Engineers - all Disciplines & levels to potentially join our team based in our Ascot office in Q3/Q4 of 2025 . You will have the opportunity to work both in the design office and on site dedicated to a project making real contributions. We are looking for motivated and proactive Engineers with a desire to potentially develop their long-term career with GRES. Key Responsibilities of these positions could include: Producing engineering deliverables such as data sheets, specifications, and calculations Review engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D models in conjunction with the drafting teams Provide technical assistance to our in-house construction teams, both from the design office and later based on site Assisting the commissioning team with site inspection reports during the dry, wet, and ore commissioning phases Tendering, evaluating, awarding, and managing vendor equipment packages including expediting and reviewing vendor documentation Working with civil/structural, electrical, and process disciplines in the project team to produce accurate design documents Must haves: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Metallurgy, or Civil 3-10 years' experience in a similar role within a minerals processing environment Be prepared to work in various locations in a FIFO capacity as required for commissioning and construction High level of written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite Australian or New Zealand citizen, or have full working rights at the time of application - No sponsorship opportunities What’s on offer: With over 1000 employees across Australia, our focus is to create a rewarding working environment where you will be valued and appreciated for your knowledge, experience, and innovative mind.
