Engineers - Civil, Geotechnical and Environmental GreenTec Group (GreenTec Consulting & Sigma Geo Environment) is a specialist consulting firm based in Brisbane and is currently looking to grow our Brisbane team with exciting design and construction projects located Australia wide. Due to growth and a strong project pipeline of work, we are looking to recruit Engineers with either Civil, Environmental or Geotechnical experience and qualifications. Working as part of a small team, the role will see you involved in all engineering functions from design, modelling, deliverable development, construction management and planning support, as well as maintaining client relationships, developing new business, and providing mentoring to junior staff. We aren’t your typical consultancy; although our outputs may be the same quality as large consulting firms, our aim is to provide practical advice and innovative solutions for our clients, guiding them through from approvals to construction and operations through closure and rehabilitation or landfill, mining, and CSG projects. You won't be pigeonholed into doing the same tasks on the same stage of projects; you will get to work across all stages of a project and complete a wide variety of tasks and duties. The Role: Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be involved with: Providing practical design and construction support in a timely manner for landfill, stormwater, mining and CSG (large earthworks structures). Reviewing and signing off on engineering project deliverables. Providing consulting advice. Preparing proposals for new work including the development of project budgets and proposal documentation. Managing projects, staff, sub-contractors, and associated project budgets. Working remotely at site as required and completing CQA tasks. Being efficient within allocated time frames. About You: Ideally registered as RPEQ (Civil/Geotechnical). Minimum 3 years experience in the engineering sector within Australia. A positive can-do attitude and team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in landfill engineering and waste management would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail, able to make decisions quickly, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
