Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NWPrimary Health North West Applications must be submitted by Sunday 09 February, 2025 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Enrolled Nurse, Grade 2 $70,980 to $78,179 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Multiple FTE - F/T & P/T positions Region: North West Location: Devonport Community Health Centre Mersey-Leven Community Health Nursing and Home Care service (MLCHN& HCS) operates within a primary Health framework to deliver nursing and home care services to clients within our catchment area. The Team: Mersey-Leven Community Health Nursing and Home Care Service is an integrated team who support each other. The Role: Nursing care includes medication assistance, management of chronic and complex wounds, management of venous access devices, indwelling and suprapubic catheter changes, palliative care, post-acute care following discharge from hospital, and medication management. You will need: Sound knowledge of Primary Health Care principles and nursing care procedures and practices in the community setting. Demonstrated clinical assessment, problem solving and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Details of appointment: Multiple permanent full time and part time positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 2 March 2025. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type.
