Enrolled Nurse - Community - Fixed-term and Casual Employment Register Department of Health Applications must be submitted by Tuesday 30 June, 2026 11:55 PM AEST. Award/Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Enrolled Nurse, Grade 2 $70,980 to $78,179 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Casual, Full Time, Part Time Region: South Registers provide a mechanism to recruit to casual vacancies. They may also be used to fill short, fixed term vacancies where normal recruitment processes are not practicable. Please note a fixed-term and casual employment register is not a vacancy and inclusion on a register does not guarantee any offer of employment will be made. This Register: Applications are invited from Enrolled Nurses interested in being considered for fixed-term full time, part-time or casual employment periods up to 12 months within community settings in the South and North West Tasmania. Minimum Requirements: Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines). Current Driver's Licence. Pre-employment Checks: The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted: Conviction check in the following areas: a) Crimes of violence; b) Sex related offences; c) Serious drug offences; and d) Crimes involving dishonesty. Identification check. Disciplinary action in previous employment check. * As required by CHSP, occupants of this role are required to undertake a conviction check assessment every three years.
