Enterprise Risk Manager Financial Markets The Enterprise Risk Manager is designed for a professional with a background in risk management, legal affairs, auditing, compliance, information security, or IT. This position will involve collaborating with multiple teams across the organisation to manage risk-related projects and support the execution of our client's Privacy and Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The role will also involve working closely with local teams in the APAC region who are responsible for risk management at regional market centres. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including the creation and implementation of policies, procedures, and tools to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks across the organisation. Provide expert guidance to management on identifying, assessing, measuring, and tracking enterprise risks. Offer counsel on risk appetite, risk tolerance, and mitigation strategies, leading efforts to evaluate and execute these strategies. Build and sustain strong, cross-functional relationships with Senior Management, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Information Security, and Internal Audit teams to ensure the effective implementation of the "three lines of defense" model. Maintain oversight of the enterprise risk and control portfolio, keeping the Chief Risk Officer informed about emerging issues and progress on corrective actions and controls. Utilise industry-standard risk management methodologies to quantify, evaluate, and present risk information in a clear, actionable format. Lead and oversee risk assessments and analyses related to privacy, IT, fraud, compliance, insider threats, and other enterprise-wide risks. Evaluate risk events or situations by considering both their likelihood and potential impact. Manage risk and vendor-related activities related to corporate acquisitions and the evaluation of new or existing third-party vendors. Identify and address system-level risks, implementing global policies to manage access controls. Required Experience: Solid understanding of enterprise risk management principles, including the three lines of defense model, risk analysis (focusing on both likelihood and impact), and risk governance. Familiarity with key governance frameworks, standards, and compliance documentation. Strong technical knowledge, with experience in financial or exchange systems considered an advantage. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a related discipline). Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in risk management or a closely related field.
