THE ROLE DT Infrastructure have been awarded the contract to construct the high-profile renewable energy project - Boulder Creek Wind Farm located near Rockhampton Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent environmental performance across the project. Drive in Drive out or Fly in Fly out roster 10 days on 4 days off. Uplift, Living Away from Home Allowance, Flights and Accommodation provided. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide support to the Environmental Manager to ensure environmental works are carried out in accordance with the Project Approvals (EPBC, State DA etc), CEMP and associated Sub Plans. Ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, rules, procedures, standards and policies. Conduct ongoing risk management and hazard identification processes. Manage specialist consultants to ensure all contract requirements are met. Coordinate accident/incident investigations and produce environmental bulletins and alerts. Conduct inspection and assurance processes. ABOUT YOU Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering or similar. Demonstrated experience in a similar role (linear civil infrastructure construction preferred). A passion for developing and implementing environmental and sustainable solutions. Ability to influence project teams and subcontractors. Effective planning, time management and organizational skills. Providing direct project day to day support – toolbox meetings, inspections, incident entry, risk control advice, project meetings, record management, EWMS, site work instructions. Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (preferred but not essential).
