Job Title: Environmental Advisor/Technical Writer Employer: DFP Recruitment Client Position Type: 6-8 week Full Time Casual Temporary Contract Location: Perth, WA 6000 Key Responsibilities: Conduct interviews to gather relevant information for the development of environmental management processes. Develop and document processes to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 requirements. Perform a gap analysis against ISO 14001 standards and identify areas for improvement. Review and refine existing documentation to align with ISO 14001 standards. Create and maintain an Environmental Management Plan (EMP). Update and manage the Environmental Aspects and Impact Register. Establish and monitor environmental objectives for the organization. Develop and review environmental training content tailored to organizational needs. Conduct an Environmental Training Needs Analysis to identify areas for staff development. Perform life cycle analysis to assess environmental impacts. Develop and implement Environmental Emergency Scenarios and Response Plans. Review and enhance the Internal Audit Procedure and checklist to ensure effectiveness. Plan and manage the Internal Audit Programme/Schedule to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Essential to be successful in the role: Environmental Science or similar discipline. Minimum 5 years experience in an operational environment providing environmental advisory. Proven experience working with an ISO 14001 certified management system. Understanding of environmental aspects and impacts and compliance obligations. Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Sound computer literacy with word processing and spreadsheets. Excellent organisational and time management skills, including attention to detail. Ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels.
