About The Role: As an Environmental Services Worker, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment for residents within our Residential Aged Care facility. Your work will help ensure that our residents feel comfortable, cared for, and at home. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll handle: Cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic and safe environment for residents and staff. Laundry tasks, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and labeling resident clothing and linens. Distribution of linen and resident clothing; maintaining the cleanliness of the laundry and equipment. About You To thrive in this role, you should have: Experience in laundry, cleaning, or kitchen services, preferably in aged care. A genuine passion for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow hygiene and safety protocols. Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills to engage with residents and team members. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods. Shifts available Monday – Friday, 30 – 70 hours per fortnight. Desirable Previous relevant work experience, preferably within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Experience working in the aged care industry. A qualification relevant to the field. Requirements Possession of a current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check - or the ability to acquire. Why Join Us?
