KEY RESPONSIBILITIES On-the-ground operational management of the Melbourne Woofys arm. You are the local manager and responsible for the delivery of exceptional activations - from organisation to execution. Hands-on delivery of activations including event preparation (ordering, packing, styling, food preparation, checklists) and managing of bump ins / outs. Ownership of the event set up and ensuring the kits are packed and ready to go in advance of the event: provide direction and ensure consistency of cart styling in line with Woofys look and feel. Packing and driving the vans: you pack the events (carts, coffee machines, tubs and produce) into the van at the warehouse in a methodical way to ensure smooth delivery of your daily events and drive our unique carts to and from events to set them up and pack them down. Delivering events: you love a schedule and arrive on time with a smile to bump in client events. Liaising with the client, you get the event set up impeccably as per the guidelines on the event job sheet. Bumping out: what gets set up, must get packed down – you look after the pack down and bump out of all client events in a swift and professional manner. Delivering the event back to the warehouse and assisting the Woofys team with unpacking and returning all items to their dedicated area. Accurately manage and track movements of inventory (in-coming supplies such as branding, stock, assets) and completed activations. Leadership of the on the ground events team including all event staffing, drivers, the wider casual staffing team in Melbourne, including rostering, weekly team briefings and management of tasks. You support other states with tasks, you work as one team. Work alongside the General Manager to manage Melbourne’s weekly logistics schedule and staffing of bump ins, bump outs, and events. Work alongside the broader Woofys team to manage budgets, for example, tracking casual hours, equipment purchases and cart styling purchases. Management of staff training for all Melbourne personnel, including full time, part time and casual team members. Management of maintenance plan: ensuring maintenance items (such as stocktake, cart maintenance) are done to schedule. Maintenance of all Woofys equipment in Melbourne – always ensuring exceptional condition of all Woofys items including carts, bars, plinths, machinery, props and other event styling items. General warehouse organisation and cleaning: you love a clean, organised working space and take care of all things warehouse related including dropping and collecting the laundry, unpacking completed events, cleaning, and returning all items to their dedicated area, ensuring the dishes are done and the kitchen is spotless, etc. Accepting deliveries and general housekeeping: you accept and cross check all produce, branding, packaging and other deliveries to ensure correct and raise any issues of missing stock or incorrect deliveries with the ops team. Assist General Manager with any ad-hoc tasks. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE You’re organised and process driven - you value attention to detail in all that you do. You love everything about events (even the stressful and unplanned parts). You’re proactive and show initiative – you know that things never go to plan (despite how well you plan!) but you’re able to think on your feet and solve problems with minimal fuss. You prioritise safety – you have tight deadlines and a lot on the go, but despite this, you ensure that you act safely at all times, prioritising safe work procedures and following Warehouse safety plans and instructions. You drive safely at all times, prioritising road rules and safe driver habits, as well as when you’re in the warehouse. Ability to think strategically ‘outside the box’, and creatively. You enjoy leading a team and getting the best out of people. You have your Full Australian Driver’s Licence.
