As Australia’s largest independent funder, they develop strong relationships with thousands of insurance brokers and their clients to offer a range of leading-edge finance products. Using industry-leading technology, and backed by private equity, they are on a strong growth trajectory, which has created a new opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Event and Sponsorships Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of key events and sponsorships for the Group in a part-time capacity. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will oversee all aspects of conference, exhibition, and event planning, including securing venues, managing registrations, and coordinating logistics. You will ensure that branding and sponsorship opportunities are fully leveraged to differentiate the Group from its competitors. As the Event and Sponsorships Manager, you will also be responsible for managing online events, such as webinars, and streamlining event processes, including implementing an online RSVP system and optimising workflows for increased efficiency. Additionally, you will conduct post-event analysis, measure and report on event ROI, ensuring all activities align with the Group’s strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, particularly the Sales team, you will ensure the seamless execution of events, maximising their impact while adhering to budget and deadlines. Enhancing event visibility, crafting unforgettable experiences for target audiences, and nurturing strong relationships with strategic partners are key to achieving success in this role. A proactive individual with a customer-focused approach, you will bring strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage budgets and multiple projects concurrently. Attention to detail, and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in event management and sponsorships is highly desirable, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
