While in the general public we provide the psychology information and tools people need, ultimately we serve our purpose of improving the mental health and wellbeing of the Australian population. About the Role The Events and CPD Administrator sits within the APS Professional Development Team and is responsible for providing customer service and event coordination support to the Professional Development team in relation to all webinars and virtual supervisor workshop sessions. The Events and CPD Administrator acts as the key contact for troubleshooting participant issues, providing support to facilitators and presenters for live online webinars and ensuring the post webinar processes are completed in a timely manner. Due to the nature of the position and industry, the successful candidate must be available to work outside normal business hours. In addition to this, the Events and CPD Administrator will work within the team to action all incoming correspondence (both phone and email) to the APS Professional Development Team. This is a part-time (0.8FTE - 4 days per week), ongoing position that is open to applicants anywhere in Australia. Our Ideal Candidate We are looking to recruit a motivated and passionate individual. Key Selection Criteria includes: Minimum three (3) years’ work experience as an administrator preferably within a customer service environment or a member-based organisation. Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, web-based software, email systems, and other MS software, events, and online meeting software/platforms. Thrive in a team-based environment and proven ability to also work independently when needed. Demonstrated delivery of high-quality customer service (both internal and external). An ability to quickly acquire skills in new IT systems (databases) and learning management systems (LMS). Why work with the APS?
