Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Firm (BD&C) Business Development & Communications Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the business development efforts, particularly BD&C-related events and functions, across all 4 Australian offices (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth). The BD&C Events Coordinator reports directly to the Business Development & Communications Manager and the Firm Director, Business Development & Communications. In performing this role, the BD&C Events Coordinator is expected to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments, and comply with Firm policies and procedures. The BD&C Events Coordinator is also expected to assist in other BD&C-related functions, including helping with tracking of client interactions and client targeting, and with the preparation of internal BD&C-related documents including pitches and proposals, legal directory submissions and research. The BD&C Events Coordinator is expected to perform all job duties with a commitment to producing quality work product as part of a global team. Required Qualifications: Previous experience in an events role, business development and/or marketing role in a business and/or professional services environment.
