Hartley Lifecare (Hartley), a Canberra-based not-for-profit that has been around for 63 years, is dedicated to providing Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short Term Accommodation or respite care (STA) for people with disabilities in Canberra. We also run the Hartley Hydro, an all-abilities accessible heated pool that stays at a cozy 34°C and operates 5 days a week. An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Events and Markets Manager to join our high performing team. Bring your sparkle to our diverse range of events and the 37 year old monthly Hartley Hall Markets. If you're proactive, love meticulous planning, engaging stakeholders, and building community relationships, we're looking for you! What You'll Do: Coordinate and oversee our long running, vibrant Hartley Hall Markets Manage Hartley’s signature events with flair Engage with a wide variety of stakeholders Ensure safety and compliance are top-notch Contribute to community-focused initiatives What We're Looking For: Experience in managing events Experience in the community/non-profit sector is a plus Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage employees and volunteers with a smile A high level of physical fitness A valid driver's license This pivotal role is perfect for someone who embodies compassion, has a community focus, and possesses exceptional organisational skills.
