Executive Assistant to General Manager (Temporary position) Direct message the job poster from Tardis Group About the organisation and the position A leading IVD company operating globally is actively seeking an experienced EA to join the team and support their General Manager in Sydney. This temporary contract position is for up to 3 months, ideally starting as soon as possible. There is potential for extension or to become permanent. As the Executive Assistant, you will empower the GM and the broader team to perform at their best. You will provide high-quality day-to-day support and serve as a focal point of contact between the GM and the company’s internal and external stakeholders. Your input will facilitate the organisation's efforts by managing various needs and ensuring smooth operations. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive logistics, flexibility, agility, and the ability to manage changing demands and expectations daily. Responsibilities Acting as the point of contact between the GM and the company’s stakeholders Organising meetings, negotiating appointments, and managing diaries Handling correspondence and email record management Managing travel arrangements and detailed travel itineraries Taking minutes in a concise and structured manner Helping prepare budgets, reports, letters, and presentations Maintaining filing and database systems for recording and storing information Coordinating corporate events and engagements Liaising with third-party providers/suppliers to ensure smooth business operations Building and maintaining productive working relationships with key stakeholders Undertaking adhoc projects as directed by the GM Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications/Certificate IV in Business Administration or Business Degree would be highly regarded At least 5+ years of work experience as an EA in a similar role providing support to C-Suite or key Executive team members Advanced computer skills, particularly in Google Suite (a MUST), SAP Concur (a MUST), and BCD Travel (a plus) Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions when required Ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines Ability to prioritise Outstanding time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Great team player and collaborator Proactive and positive attitude For more information, please feel free to contact Chris at .
