The opportunity: Across Australia and New Zealand, we have circa 34 stores, a growing online platform and we plan to expand this year on year. Category Executive As the Category Executive, you will support to drive brands within Sephora Australia and New Zealand through strong relationships both internally and externally and assist in developing the category and business strategies. You will also support the administration of the Category Team by taking ownership of brand onboarding, report generation, planogram and data management. You will shine here if you enjoy… Building and maintaining rapport with brand partners to maximize business opportunities that are strategic and profitable Assisting with Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly review of sales to identify opportunities, category trends, and product trends Preparing weekly and monthly database and sales figures for brand distribution Assisting with Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly review of brand performance to identify risks and opportunities to leverage future opportunities Planning, forecasting, implementing, and reviewing all newness launches relevant to the local market Liaising with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning and Operations) and external stakeholders to ensure success of each brand and SKU launch and/or animations through weekly meetings Supporting and contributing to the onboarding of brands and brand acquisition through distribution and supplier code of conduct agreements, new supplier creation form, regulatory and newness processes Managing newness launch process through brand portal of OMNI NIF and Digital NIF with the onsite team, providing support to ensure the success of all new launches and promotion activities Identifying and implementing best practices that drive efficiency and improvement of processes Analyzing local and international markets, identifying trends and monitoring and understanding key competitors relevant to the Australia and New Zealand markets Working in conjunction with the visual merchandising department to ensure accurate execution of animations in store, driving relevant thematic campaigns, and reviewing and maintaining of space planograms Maintaining data integrity through product database, price management and terms and conditions Managing and reviewing onsite maintenance with the life cycle of publishing banners, videos and copy in conjunction with Category Coordinator and Regional Onsite Team Ensuring regulatory process is supported to ensure launch of products within our markets We would love to hear from you if you are/have… At least 3 years of Account / Brand Management experience in a similar role, ideally within the beauty industry Strong business acumen and retail experience Advanced Excel skills with the proven use of Vlookup and Pivot Tables etc Keen interest in the beauty industry with a flair for trends and styles Previous experience in a buying environment Strong ability to manage and build strong relationships both internally and externally Excellent written / verbal communication skills A high level of attention to detail, and a sense of urgency with strong time management skills Independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment Sephora is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace for all.
