Position Summary: Vera Therapeutics is looking for dynamic talent to join our team. We’re seeking an Executive Director, Trade and Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy, and Patient Support Services to join our Access Team. This role is responsible for all Trade & Distribution (3PL & SD), Specialty Pharmacy, Patient Support Services (HUB & Patient Affordability Programs), and Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) related to the entire product portfolio. Responsibilities: Responsible for the strategy of Trade and Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy, and Patient Support Services across all Vera therapeutic products. Build, lead, and develop the Trade and Distribution, Specialty Pharmacy, and Patient Support Services team. Lead the development and execution of distribution, specialty pharmacy, and patient support services to facilitate treatment initiation and maintenance. Oversee planning, program design development, vendor selection, contracting, and implementation of Distribution, HUB, and Patient Affordability programs. Monitor HUB and Specialty Pharmacy programs to ensure appropriate patient and HCP support. Oversee the creation of marketing plans to support patient access and HCP adoption of Vera Patient Support Services. Establish relationships with key decision-makers. Advise the Managed Markets team in developing tools that communicate our brand value propositions. Collaborate with key Vera stakeholders to monitor Specialty Pharmacy and Patient Support Services performance. Ensure compliance with state and federal statutes and requirements. Attend major customer meetings, conventions, and trade shows. Develop a strong understanding of how assigned organizations impact the U.S. marketplace. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and/or PharmD preferred. Minimum 12+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry, with 5-10 years of significant leadership experience. 10+ years of experience in building trade and distribution, patient support services, and Specialty Pharmacy programs. Proven ability to build relationships with executive-level decision-makers. Experienced in complex contract negotiation and management. Demonstrated excellence in business plan development, strategic planning, and P&L management. Outstanding leadership in managing high-performance teams.
