We are seeking a strategic leader to drive strategy, growth and operational excellence in senior services, ensuring that older Australians receive the highest quality of care, dignity, and support. Reporting to the Executive Director – Community Services, the Executive General Manager – Senior Services is a member of Wesley Mission’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This role oversees retirement living, and in-home aged care services , ensuring they are client-centred, sustainable, and aligned with Wesley Mission’s vision and strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategic and operational management of Wesley Mission’s senior services portfolio, ensuring high-quality aged care services that meet regulatory, financial, and accreditation standards. Drive service expansion and sustainability, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation in aged care, retirement living, and home support services. Foster a client-centred culture, ensuring that services reflect compassion, dignity, and excellence in senior care. Engage with government agencies, consumer groups, and industry bodies to advocate for best practices and expand Wesley Mission’s impact. Strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks to ensure quality assurance, operational efficiency, and regulatory adherence. Lead and develop high-performing teams, instilling a culture of collaboration, accountability, and service excellence. Work closely with the Board Quality and Risk Committee, ensuring services align with sector best practices and Wesley Mission’s Christian ethos. Stay ahead of industry trends, leveraging emerging opportunities to enhance aged care service delivery. About You You are a visionary leader with a strong track record in aged care, retirement living, or community services. You bring strategic and operational expertise, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of older Australians. Significant senior leadership experience in aged care, retirement living, or human services. Deep understanding of compliance, accreditation, and risk management within aged care regulations and funding models. Commercial acumen, with the ability to drive financial sustainability and operational success. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in working with government agencies, consumer advocacy groups, and regulatory bodies. Demonstrated leadership ability, with a passion for developing high-performing teams and fostering a values-driven culture. Personal commitment to Wesley Mission’s Christian ethos and values.
