Job Function: Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Work Type: Fixed term - full time or part time About this role Full time maximum term position up to 12 months (part time applications considered) This role is a parental leave backfill position Salary range: $76,426 - $98,901 (pro rata) plus super plus salary packaging Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model About the role Join VLA during an exciting period as we welcome a new Chief Executive Officer. The Executive Governance Coordinator is a trusted role, responsible for providing confidential and high-level support, coordination and assistance to VLA's senior governance forums, General Counsel and the Risk and Compliance Manager. You will be responsible for coordinating VLA's senior management forums (Executive Management Group and Senior Leadership Team) and liaising with Executives and their Assistants to ensure effective and efficient consideration of significant issues affecting the organisation. You will also support the Risk and Compliance Manager to prepare and compile reports for the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee and provide administrative support to the General Counsel and other team members as required. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive professional who is interested in working with stakeholders at senior and executive levels to make a difference to the Victorian community. This role is hybrid but is primarily based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country. About you As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support to senior staff members including the ability to manage own work priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate projects while maintaining confidentiality and discretion. Highly developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement while liaising with a wide range of stakeholders about highly confidential and sensitive matters. Capacity to provide high quality executive and governance support at a senior level. Detail-oriented, well-organised and a critical thinker, you will be capable of formulating in-depth advice on governance issues.
