Job Description

Position Title: Executive Manager - Finance and Analytics Location: Sydney Reports To: Managing Director (MD) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented finance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data across accounting, lending, investment, and payment systems. You will work closely with the Managing Director (MD), external bookkeepers, and accountants to provide timely management and statutory financial information. In this role, you will complete financial modelling and budgeting as directed by the MD and the Board, oversee the execution of the group's strategic plan and compliance requirements in collaboration with the Head of Operations, and ensure alignment of business objectives with senior executives. You will also prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the Board and gather customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve our business operations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the integrity of financial data in accounting, lending, investment, and payment systems. Work with the MD, and the external bookkeepers and accountants to provide timely management and statutory financial information. Complete financial modelling and budgeting on the direction of the MD and the Board. Along with the Head of Operations, oversee the execution of the group strategic plan and compliance requirements. Collaborate with all senior executives to ensure alignment of business objectives and maintenance of team culture. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the Board. Gather customer and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the business. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of financial services and investment funds. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Strategic thinking and decision-making. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
