Senior Executive leadership role working across a diverse portfolio which includes Digital, Payments and Customer. Help shape the future of Qantas and deliver exceptional value to our customers. The Executive Manager, Purchasing Experience has overall responsibility for setting, developing and implementing the long- and short-term Digital Customer Experience strategy, our end-to-end Purchasing Experience and Group Payments strategy. The Executive Manager Purchasing Experience also holds the responsibility to lead and enable Qantas’ Design Centre of Excellence, providing best-in-class end-to-end customer experience design capability to the organisation, as well as the responsibility for Customer Planning and Investment on behalf of the Qantas Group Customer Leadership Team. The role provides advice and thought leadership on digital strategy and transformation, payment transformation (including but not limited to Messaging & Conversational AI) to our C-Suite Executives. This includes guidance and recommendations on the end-to-end customer journey, customer service proposition, revenue generation, commercial decisions, and customer insights across Qantas Group. This role is also responsible for the Group Payments portfolios leading transformation of payments orchestration, technology and partner evolution. In addition, this role will play a key role in the design of the architecture and implementation of our Product led operating model and transformation to our ways of working. This is the Qantas Group’s key digital leadership role, which involves leading a large team to drive customer and business outcomes, with significant impact on the end-to-end customer journey and brand reputation. You’ll have: 15+ years of experience in Executive senior leadership roles. Significant demonstrated experience in a similar, large and complex organisation, developing strategy and leading team across digital, ecommerce, purchasing solutions with great success. Success at driving innovative digital, online and offline customer strategies that lead to growth in revenues in complex consumer-focused organisations. Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing change and transformation across CEO, Board and Senior Exec levels. Viewed by industry as an expert in developing and integrating digital strategies directly and through collaboration with leaders across the business. Demonstrated ability to coach and develop leaders of leaders. Demonstrated experience and ability to manage/deliver programs of work in a highly complex environment. Proven track record in Product Operating Model design and implementation in large complex organisations. Proven success in enabling traditional organisations to transform their culture, planning, funding and ways of working practices to become lean, modern and flexible future-proof organisations. Experience in Payments processes, technologies and partnerships with the ability to transform and uplift customer payment experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints. Why Qantas?
