Infrastructure Delivery is seeking a temporary Executive Officer to provide high-level support to the Office of the Executive Director and the broader unit. This key role involves delivering exceptional executive and administrative support to the Executive Director and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the department. About The Role The role involves managing the Executive Director's inbox and diary management, coordinating and prioritising tasks to support the efficient operations of the Office of the Executive Director - Infrastructure Delivery. The position requires independent judgement, initiative, and the ability to provide professional, efficient, and confidential administrative support. The Executive Officer reports to the Principal Advisor, Office of the Executive Director - Infrastructure Delivery. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual for this full-time temporary opportunity until 30 June 2025. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Organisational, time management, and analytical skills - Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines, apply research and problem-solving capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve business processes with a high level of attention to detail. Stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to quickly establish rapport, foster and maintain effective working relationships, and communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders. Technical proficiency and administrative experience - Experience in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, OneNote, Purchase Orders, and Expenditure Approvals, Travel processes and proficient in electronic inbox and diary management. About You We are looking for a highly organised energetic, passionate and experienced administrative professional with exceptional communication skills. You will be confident in building and maintaining positive key internal and external stakeholder relationships and you will have the ability to exercise independent judgement and maintain confidentiality on sensitive issues. You will have a high sense of accountability and an eye for detail, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities for the Office, autonomously and collaboratively as needed. You will be a team player, proactive, willing to learn and the ability to manage multiple priorities and issues in a time-sensitive manner.
