About Brisbane School of Distance Education The Brisbane School of Distance Education provides lessons in an online environment to over 3000 students. This position provides high-level support to the School Executive to support over 300 staff. The applicant should be knowledgeable with One School and My HR functionality, and knowledge of Education Qld policy and DOE standards are critical. The role directly supports the Business Manager and Deputy Principals and provides advice to all school staff. About the Role The Executive Services Officer A04 supports the 7 Deputies and the Business Manager in various administrative functions, focusing on managing HR practices in the school with a focus on Teaching HR. The position will work closely with the Deputy Principal (Teaching HR) and the Business Manager to ensure the HR functions of the school are completed effectively and efficiently, ensuring all deadlines are met. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Complete all Teaching Appointment forms and Roster variations Recording of leave for all staff on a daily basis Uploading daily absence reports Allocating budget codes to salary swipes Checking of relevant HR reports on a regular basis Checking Public Servant and Teacher Aide time sheets each fortnight Assisting with the school staffing profile Assisting Deputy HR with relevant HR reports Providing HR advice to staff and Deputy Principals as required Other duties as directed School hours for teaching staff are 8.00am to 2.00pm. This position is required to commence work no later than 7.00am each day to ensure staff absences are advised to the school community. About You The ideal applicant will have the following skills: Ability to work independently Ability to interpret and accurately apply policy Ability to commence work at 7.00am daily Interested?
