About the role We are looking for support workers to help who have industry experience, manual handling skills and the following attributes: Experience managing participants who require support with complex care and high physical needs. Experience in managing participants with challenging behaviors. Minimum 12 months relevant experience in the above-mentioned fields of expertise. Certificate III or IV in Disability, or Individual Support or higher. Experience within the industry (e.g. working with disability, mental health, high medical needs, aged care, individual support, NDIS Management etc.). Clear and effective communication skills and ability to establish a professional relationship with participant and their families. Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster and the availability to work overnight shifts or attend training or meetings as required. Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, National Police Check are essential. We can provide other specialised training to meet gaps such as a quality Induction and Medication Administration and other Specialised training. Current Open Driver’s Licence (mandatory ).
