Experienced Concreter (Contractor or Full-Time)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Concreter to join our skilled ‘Small Structures’ team within Dalby with exciting, future opportunities on Australia-wide projects. Working on a flexible roster/s, you will initially be based within our Dalby Workshop with future opportunities on a diverse range of civil rural and regional QLD/NSW projects available. You will bring a positive ‘can do attitude’ and be able to work collaboratively, with a safe approach to productivity. This role provides you with variety, new challenges, and opportunities for growth. We offer competitive remuneration + tool allowance + company vehicle + accommodation & meals provided. The Role: You will use your trade qualification and experience/knowledge within the civil construction industry to: Plan and carry out concreting tasks, including: Construct and assemble formwork; Pour and finish concrete slabs; Pour and finish concrete tilt panels; Setting out / stripping out of jobs (including the operation of heavy machinery); Carry out maintenance on office and camp facilities; Be willing to learn and develop new skill sets used within the team. Your Qualifications & Experience: Trade Qualified; Proven experience in performing concrete works and concrete preps; Valid Open, Unrestricted Driver’s Licence + General Construction Induction (White) Card (or willingness to obtain); Experience working on-site (DIDO/FIFO) in the construction industry would be advantageous; Demonstrated experience and general knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering, environmental and WHS principles & relevant legislation/standards; Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening; You value safety whilst meeting targets and delivering results.
