Based in our Ravenhall office (with a 3/2 hybrid option available), you will ideally have some exposure to the following: Experience in a similar role within the Freight Forwarding space Experience using CargoWise One Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Efficient time management Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills Client meetings via MS Teams or in person Some knowledge of Customs and Quarantine procedures Your daily activities: Each day can be a little different in a Supply Chain environment. You might find yourself engaging in the following activities: Export Bookings & Scheduling: Receive and confirm export bookings from customers/agents. Secure space with shipping lines or co-loaders (FCL/LCL). Documentation & Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and verify export documents (e.g., Bills of Lading, COO, EDN). Ensure compliance with customs regulations, understanding INCOTERMS. Shipment Coordination & Tracking: Oversee containerized shipments from origin to destination, resolving delays or issues. Provide regular status updates to customers and stakeholders. Customer & Partner Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and escalations. Collaborate with internal teams (Customs, Sales, Finance) to ensure smooth operations. Job Costing & Invoicing: Verify job costs, invoice shipments. Support spot quotes and additional service requests for new business. Identify bottlenecks in the seafreight process and suggest enhancements. Implement best practices to streamline export workflows and boost customer satisfaction. Interested? What next?
