Precision Group is seeking a motivated full-time Facilities Manager to join the team at Adelaide Central Plaza Shopping Centre. Precision Group is one of Australia’s most successful private commercial property investment and management companies with a portfolio of retail, commercial, and hospitality properties. Adelaide Central Plaza is a world-class retail destination in the heart of the Adelaide CBD, combining superior design with a premium retail offer. The Centre is home to Australia’s premier department store David Jones, along with a mix of international and Australian specialty retailers. The position reports to the Centre Manager. The Facilities Manager is responsible for the overall operational performance of the asset. You will provide leadership of property operations, focusing on strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, and the daily operation of all property services, with a focus on sustainable and economic performance and constant improvement. Your role and responsibilities will include: Deliver quality results on time and on budget, ensuring exceptional customer experience. Management of the detailed asset life cycle plan for the Centre, effectively communicating facilities’ priorities and capital requirements. Preparation of the Centre budget and accurate forecasts, documenting all assumptions and identifying savings and efficiencies without negatively impacting the asset. Ensure all asset maintenance, contractor, or compliance data is captured and accessible centrally, accurate, and current for real-time reporting. Maintain high levels of superior customer service and develop key retailer stakeholder engagement. Adhere to continuous Workplace Health and Safety cultural improvement. You’ll also have Duty Management responsibilities from time to time, requiring you to work a weekend shift (on a roster), balanced with a day off in lieu. What will set you apart? Trade-based qualifications are preferred but not essential. 5+ years’ experience within a retail property facilities management or similar customer-centric environment. Commercial acumen and demonstrated experience balancing financial needs with technical outcomes. Demonstrated skill in coordinating technical and operational stakeholders and providing clarity of instructions as needed. Excellent customer service and service delivery skills. IT literate and able to use current business and building management systems and software.
