Queensland Museum Rail Workshops holds a significant place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike. A much-loved destination, it stands as a living testament to Ipswich’s rich history, industrial heritage, and the pivotal role it played in the evolution of the region, as the birthplace of Queensland Rail – once the site of Queensland’s largest employer. The Facilities Officer will play a key role within the Facilities and Infrastructure Renewal team, delivering exceptional service in building operations at Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. You will manage facilities and building services to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, meet service needs, and maintain a safe and secure environment for all occupants and visitors, while fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and calm under pressure, with exemplary interpersonal skills and a flexible can-do attitude.
