Central Coast Sports College (CCSC) is a progressive independent school situated in Kariong on the NSW Central Coast. We specialise in providing innovative educational and sport programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills. The Role: We are looking for an expert cleaner to join the CCSC Cleaning Team to service the College site. This will entail cleaning of classroom buildings, administration buildings, amenities blocks and other areas as may be required. This is a part-time position - 3 hours per day (5:00am to 8:00am) Monday to Friday. There is potential for the role to increase to 4 hours per day (5:00am to 9:00am). The successful candidate(s) will be able to: Maintain a high level of cleanliness across the CCSC site Ensure all duties are completed to the highest standards Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment Ensure the correct usage of PPE Comply with CCSC's WHS Policy, safe work procedures, instructions and rules, particularly in the correct use of equipment Be responsible for own health and safety and for the health and safety of others in the workplace Be familiar with the material safety data sheets (MSDS) for any chemical substances used and abide by the directions for use and storage Work unsupervised Qualifications and experience: NSW working with children check clearance Knowledge and skills: High level of organisational skills and a methodical approach to tasks Good interpersonal and communication skills Personal attributes: Flexible and adaptable nature A strong work ethic Approachable, honest, friendly, trustworthy and respectful Application requirement: To apply, please outline your suitability for this position by providing your resume, a cover letter and 2 references.
