Base pay range A$180,000.00/yr - A$220,000.00/yr Facility Manager | Aged Care Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Manager to oversee a large aged care residence in the beautiful Fraser Coast area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a difference in the lives of elderly residents. About the Role: In this position, you will have the independence to lead and influence care standards, while being supported by an experienced regional leadership team and corporate structure. This leadership role allows you to drive positive change and contribute to the overall success and excellence of the residential aged care service. You’ll be joining a supportive and committed team where your leadership will be integral to creating an environment where both residents and staff thrive. Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing the daily operations of the facility to ensure the highest level of care and support for residents. Managing a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, and providing leadership to ensure a positive working environment. Monitoring and driving compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Aged Care Accreditation standards and the Aged Care Act. Implementing continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that service delivery is always at its best. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with residents, families, and staff, ensuring open communication and a culture of respect and care. What We’re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience: A strong dedication to quality improvement and a commitment to adhering to Aged Care Accreditation standards. In-depth knowledge of the Aged Care Act, best practice documentation, and Commonwealth funding instruments. Proven leadership experience in guiding and supporting a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to achieve exceptional care outcomes. A heartfelt passion for providing compassionate care services and ensuring the well-being of residents. Prior experience as a Facility Manager in an aged care setting is highly advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, their families, and the team. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Nursing or Health Management, are a plus.
