Facility and Operations Coordinator - Permanent Position $28 – $32 per hour plus leave, leave load, super Doggie Adventure Playhouse strives to be the leader in high-end premium dog play-care services. We are seeking a dynamic Facility and Operations Coordinator to join our team. We aim to be the best, so need the best. As a full-time permanent position, this role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art play-care facility. What you'll be doing Overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our pristine play care facility, including managing the cleaning, inventory, and equipment maintenance schedules. Coordinating the activities and schedules of our team of play care professionals to ensure exceptional service delivery to our four-legged and two-legged family. Liaising with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and services for the facility. Implementing and monitoring safety and security protocols to protect the wellbeing of our adventure buddies and play care team. Assisting with the planning and execution of special events and activities for our promotional events, pawrents, and their fur babies. Providing administrative support, including rostering, data entry, record-keeping, and reporting. What we're looking for Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar facility management or operations coordinator role, preferably within the dog daycare, similar pet industry or transferrable skill areas of human daycare, teaching or hospitality industry. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask, think outside of the box, and prioritise effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of operational situations. Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology, including social media platforms, management information systems, and Microsoft products. A passion for and interest in the science of dog social bonds, emotions, play, and well-being and a commitment to learning and growing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and our pawrents. This is a highly physical job; you need to have sufficient physical fitness to meet the manual requirements of the job. This involves being on your feet, cleaning, multi-tasking, and completing tasks quickly. Rostered hours (8 hours max per day) will be a consistent schedule but can fall anywhere 6:15am-6:15pm Monday to Friday. This is non-negotiable.
