The Role The purpose of the position is to provide a range of screening and assessment, early intervention and prevention, community education and support services for Centrecare in a professional and ethical manner that reflects the Ethos and practice of Centrecare program requirements. A Few Specifics Undertake screening and assessments, and case management using approaches that are appropriate to program requirements. Assess, identify, and develop interventions, including referral, where risk may be present, such as Family and Domestic Violence, child abuse, drug and alcohol and mental health. Assess, identify, and develop interventions that both acknowledge and offer solutions where power imbalance is a serious issue. Conduct all practice with a child focused approach. Must be available to work one evening shift a week (12pm - 8pm) on Wednesday. You Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Family Law. Working towards obtaining Family Dispute Resolution qualification is not essential but highly regarded. C class drivers license. Working with Children Check. National Police Clearance. Demonstrated experience in intake, assessment and case management. Experience and knowledge of domestic violence and family law. Knowledge and experience in early intervention and prevention program services. Demonstrated ability to deliver and evaluate personal and relationship education programs relevant to children.
