About the role: The Functional Family Therapy - Child Welfare Family Therapy Supervisor provides supervision of therapists covering high risk clinical cases as directed by the Manager; oversees the day-to-day functioning of the team(s) and ensures that all requirements are met for the monitoring of the FFT-CW program, including reports, documentation, and adherence to agency policy and procedures. The Family Therapy Supervisor will continue to carry cases, with a reduced case load in order to accommodate the additional supervisory experiences and responsibilities. This is a Full Time, Permanent (38 hrs per week) opportunity based in Nowra and Shoalhaven area, NSW Australia within the FFT-CW Unit. The position reports to the Manager Family Preservation & Restoration Services. Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families. An appropriate tertiary qualification equivalent to Masters Social Work/Psychology/Counselling or an experienced social worker/Psychologist with over 5 years’ experience and relevant therapeutic training and skills. Post Graduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family work and systemic thinking is strongly preferred. Proven highly developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and excellent engagement skills. Please address the full Key Selection Criteria outlined in the PD as part of your application.
